Made the decision to continue the train and grind out #2
The breakup explanation makes absolutely no sense to me. Sorta made sense assuming the actor couldn’t be gotten for the second film but boom she’s in the whole thing. Does it really take finding a SECOND historical treasure to keep this chick around? Bad guy is awful in this one. They don’t even pretend he’s bad and even ends up helping them multiple times before helping them the final time for his hero death. Glad Riley finally gets a chick. Not a bad movie under the right circumstances. That circumstance is this is the only thing on tv given the channels the hotel provides. But if the stars such align, hold on to your seat.
Nicholas Cage continues to always make me think anyone can be an actor. Riley’s one liners make movie go from 2.5 to 3.5 stars. Being a treasure hunter would be so sick.
