  Plot was pretty average. The setting, animations, special effects were top tier when you consider this movie was made in 1982. 
  Idk if this is a sci fi movie I’d recommend to anyone. More of a movie for those looking for an easy watch but a spectacular visual experience.

  Definition of a hidden gem. Acting was solid. Matthew McConaughey excels in a rural American setting as always, ancillary characters do well, and the child actors held up too. 

  Great cinematography. Subtle but great soundtrack. Compelling enough plot about losing naïveté but still finding hope

  In Miami, they got Cuban sandwiches at Versailles. Tbh I think the sandwiches there were mediocre, especially compared to what you can get in Tampa. But Versailles had the best cafe con leche I’ve ever had in my life
