28 Days Later 2002
This being my 3rd or 4th viewing did not make it any less terrifying, heartbreaking, infuriating, badass as hell.
I am ever in awe of Danny Boyle’s ability to veer between go-go-GO action, and sudden emotional halts that hit like a MAC truck. This film is as much about family, as it is zombies; as much about how Men and Man are more frightening and destructive and cruel than any monster, as it is Hope.
That final shot is one of my absolute favorite final shots in cinema. Makes my heart swell.Translated from by
