    This was an incredible performance by Pamela Anderson. She portrayed Shelley’s descent into chaos and identity crisis flawlessly. I found the character of Shelley brought out an array of emotions for me, she is a flawed character, who makes questionable decisions, but at her core is trying to make the most out of her situation. I felt the movie was hindered by its less than 2 hour runtime. Many of the key reveals in the film were not fully fleshed…

    I struggled to find a reason to not give this a 5⭐️.
    It was an incredible performance from Saoirse Ronan. The lack of chronology to this really allowed you to become enthralled in the chaos and duress of the protagonist. I enjoyed the jumps between London and Orkney, particularly how Rona experienced similarities between the two. I feel there is a lot to get out of this film for anyone watching, whilst the main focus was on alcoholism, it had a lot to say about identity and family. The soundscape of this was intoxicating.
    Definitely recommend watching.

I thought the scenes in Oxford were very well done and really encapsulated the suffocating feel of being an outsider in such a rarified environment.
