Top 5er probably. Every time I rewatch this I always start thinking Pacinos performance is just way too much and by the time he’s angrily ripping his tv out of the wall so his wife’s lover can’t watch it I remember I am wrong.
It makes me sad that it’s the edgy bootleg shirt movie of choice (that hockey mask scene happens in the first 5 minutes of the movie) because it’s just a beautiful movie with so much going on. I love it.
My like 100th time watching this and my 10000th time going “now I’m just saying if they put the energy they put into CGI into practical effects blah blah”. Weird that when you think about it there’s no throwaway characters, like everyone on the research site has a “thing”. Everything I could say about this movie has already been said, it’s a near perfect film.
