31 Nights of Horror 2020 31/31:
I watch this movie every Halloween, but in keeping with this year's theme I watched the extended TV edition. This is the version we had on Betamax as a kid and so the one I'm most familiar with, but I'll admit the bonus TV scenes don't really add much to the story. Apart from creating the now retroactively false notion that Laurie is Michael's sister and some scenes establishing Loomis trying to warn everyone…

Hippy fairy tale about the dangers of selling out, maaaaaan. A clever and enthralling fantasy that sets itself apart from the lot of occult thrillers that flooded the market in the late 60's/early 70's. A hidden gem of Italian horror.
