  you guys must’ve been lying about this being really good lmfao how the runtime going to be nearly four hours and I still don’t feel attached or care for any of the characters — yeah I have a lot of problems with this movie it’s not even worth getting into it all. score was good tho.

  OKAY IM BACK this reminded me a lot of the style Wes Anderson films are known for. It was just beautiful and the shot composition was amazing. Also unironically a bigger homage to brutalist architecture than the brutalist 😭😭. just really cool, I love the idea of like this human connection and solidarity throughout the film. hmmm there’s probably more I’ll add as I think

  i vant to suck your blood 

  okay I waited so SO long for this movie and it did not disappoint and im so happy it didn’t. robert eggers really does have the sauce and i might need to kiss the cinematographer on the mouth too because some of those sequences had me flabbergasted they were so good. I loved the depth that was added to these characters for example instead of ellen having ties to orlok only after he arrives…

  okay wow I love this movie :( so so good amazing performances, great story tears everywhere with this one the themes particularly plucked my heartstrings. love the sort of double entendre of the title, love the Chopin. ugh so charming. also random but very accurately depicts what being on a guided tour in Europe with a British tour guide is like 10/10. ugh lovely lovely lovely also reminded me of the Darjeeling limated a little bit
