  liked the first half of the movie a lot, I can see lots of inspiration from Zodiac, Prisoners, Silence of the Lambs mixed with more paranormal horror elements like Annabelle. Maika Monroe is amazing!! the whole movie would've been 1000x better without Nicolas Cage. just no. The cinematography was exquisite and the opening scene of the movie soooo good. overall entertaining but felt rushed and like it took many different influences from different places, some religious and occult themes, and then somehow I felt like they just forgot about it along the way?

  every frame is an artwork in itself. the visuals and camera work convey more than words do.

  poetic and ambiguous, the psychological aspects of this movie leave plenty of room for interpretation which is wonderful.

  one of my all-time favorites.
