    this was super dope, kinda interesting how bong joon ho could create a marvel-like ambiance with the humor and light heartedness to completely elicit themes of mortality, unethical capitalism, and the idea of exploration and colonization. it’s almost like he never loses the point of the plot while still making something palatable and digestible to an american audience. robert pattinson did a great job in his role at being so pathetic, yet so integral to proving that we really only have one life. bravo to the other performances too. a fun watch. certainly not ho’s best work, but still worth watching
