So elegantly directed, written and acted. The feeling of nostalgia and wholesomeness is ever present throughout the film leaving me so confusingly comforted throughout a telling of such a uncomfortable topic; caste. Some moments feel so high in intensity due to such a wonderment of a score. Aunjanue's elegance and soft spoken delivery is both heartwarming and inspiring yet gut wrenching and instills a sense of disappointment and guilt like a mother. The connection between slavery, the holocaust, indian mistreatment and etc. was connected seamlessly leaving the viewer questioning their choice of words; caste vs racism.
