The Unveiling of God / a love letter to my forefathers
Such a pleasant ode to the beautiful, black faces of men and their families. The setting and the music choices feel authentically Baltimore. This short film really goes beyond just looking pretty and actively interacts with the faces through a just a glimpse into their eye. This editing choice of quick alternating clips paired with poetry of a positive future for blackness and black people is personally soothing, effective and conceptually sound.
