    The nuclear anxieties and the generational repercussions of the atomic age are filtered through this wild genre blend: a 50’s government conspiracy/mad scientist sci-fi picture, an elongated monster of the week X-Files episode, and an 80’s body horror mix of Firestarter and Scanners. 

    It definitely has a b movie charm to it, and it has some genuinely cool visual ideas and narrative ideas, but this never truly comes together, effectively.
