  Maybe my expectations were too high or just expected something different? Beautifully shot, the Production Design and Costume were amazing, but it just feels like it lacks substance. The later half of the film just drags until the conclusion.

  A great coming-of-age story set in the 90s in Nebraska, it does an amazing job of encapsulating the nostalgia of what it felt like growing up over the summer break. Watching this brought me back to some of the ridiculous raunchier comedies of the late 90s and early 00s, but with more heart. Between Dinner in America and Snack Shack, I will be keeping my eye on Adam Rehmeier for anything he puts out in the future.
