  Did this movie cost way too much money for what it is?

  Yes.

  Were the performances kind of meh?

  Yes.

  Was this a movie I would have gone insane for in 1996?

  Also yes…

  It is trying very hard to be a Spielberg movie and for that I give it some credit.  I genuinely loved the design of all the robots and it really did feel like an old school kids movie that is a bit silly but wasn’t afraid to kill a fool.

  Watched for Magical Rewind 

  Disney really tried something here.

  Now I don’t have someone like Eddie in my life so I have no first hand knowledge of the authenticity of the movie but wow did this make me feel some kind of way.

  I really enjoyed this and I really enjoyed how absolutely flawed and messy everyone was in this movie.
