This film is like a feature length version of the “don’t’s” in a workplace sexual harassment prevention video that you’re required to watch annually. At least you are not actually required to watch this one annually.

Creeper yet is good at animals. Lady with the worst taste in men. Best scene: the happy breakup in the sewing shop. I would watch a whole movie of people having honest conversations like that one.

Airport 1975 1974
I kept feeling offended on behalf of all flight attendants everywhere about how much the female lead flight attendant lost her shit during the disaster. Flight attendants train in emotional self-control specifically. That’s why their training is a case study in The Managed Heart (Hochschild, 1983). Maybe they didn’t in the early 70s but I find that unlikely.
Anyway if you can look past that it’s a pretty entertaining silly movie. Also this is the source material for much of Airplane!(1980) and for that reason it’s fun to watch.
