As a kid, I was obsessed with Marilyn Monroe. This was maybe a symptom of being obsessed with old movies, all by myself because what other 3rd grader would watch them with me? It carried over into my teenage years, when I eventually read the book the movie is based on. I hope everyone knows by now that this is fiction. It isn’t a biopic. Anna was pretty great, the costuming, set design and camera work were great. Everything else can go. I truly hated everything else about it.
