Civil War 2024
Enjoyed the visual choices, particularly the juxtaposition of scenes with whimsical music and peaceful imagery with war scenes. I’m ok with the decision to omit backstory of the war, but this makes the story simply about war journalism. The same story could have been about any war; the choice to set this in a future civil war seems gratuitous.
