This shit starts off as a run of the mill teen sex comedy and gets progressively worse and worse as the horror elements ramp up. While only 90 minutes, once Fred Durst shows up, the film drags and drags, taking forever to reach its conclusion. I am far too old to find the awkwardly shoehorned nods to turn of the century nostalgia anything but annoying. I did, admittedly, chuckle at some of the drug/hippie humor, but there is really little to nothing to recommend here.

The Virginity Hit 2010
An awful, part mocumentary, part found footage, teen sex comedy that attempts to sublimate its cheapness and ineptitude by positing the obnoxious best friend filmed it all on a camcorder. The protagonists are irredeemable boors, THE faux pas in this genre, because "who cares if Matt ever gets laid" is anathema to following his journey to deflowering. Wildly, this film features multiple Jade Tree record's bands on its soundtrack and the "teenage" girls all rock myspace era scene hair cuts.

The Order 2024
A solid thriller based on the real life crimes of the titular 1980s white separatists. Multiple genre cliches surrounding Jude Law's FBI agent drag this movie down and I can only hope the character's actions during the climax are 100% factual or it's into "what the hell was the screenwriter thinking" territory. Still, this is a well made movie and an entertaining watch.

Thought this would be some silly horny teenager shit, but the third act goes all in on the drama and darkness. The film has too many subplots to properly develop and resolve in its 90 minute run time, feels like it was imagined to be a 3 or 4 episode series but was consolidated into a standard movie. This was marketed as a Tubi original, so my expectations were low, and they were basically met.
