There is plenty in Man of Steel to warrant comparisons to Michael Bay's Transformers movies, or all the worst parts of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. And plenty have already done so. But for me, there's no need to. Because Man of Steel isn't even a real movie to begin with. It's a drawn out synopsis that bounces around from event to event as though they have meaning. But any importance behind it is undermined by piss poor story structure…
