I thought the story was good but the plot needed work. Lily (Lively) becoming effortlessly best friends with Alyssa (Jenny Slade) doesn't make plot sense. Similarly, Lily's flower shop becomes a top 10 shop yet we never see the flower shop with a real customer in it. It would have been good if it was realistic including elements of the characters lives rather than just the pivotal scenes of conflict and domestic abuse.

There's too much screen time of the characters figuring out what's going on when we frustratingly know what's going on.
So much happens yet doesn't happen in this film, making it messy and a bit all over the place. It makes sense conceptually, but film- making wise it shows room for improvement in many areas. (Sound, acting, story writing etc.)
