  A Working Man 2025

  This really is just Taken without the trip to Europe, and replacing Liam Neeson with Jason Statham.

  Silly fun, but I’m disappointed it didn’t end with Statham luring the bad guys into a construction site, and dispatching them Home Alone-style.  Maybe next time!

  The rare film where I honestly didn’t predict how it was going to play out at the end.  All of the suspects seemed plausible, the story was twisty but mainly made sense, and I can buy how the main character pierced it all together.  Not too shabby!

  I’m guessing some of the medical science here isn’t quite accurate or has been exaggerated, but there was plenty of great, sometimes funny action throughout, and both Jack Quaid and Amber Midthunder were charming as hell, so I consider it a win.

  The Killer's Game 2024

  Basically a diet version of the third John Wick film, but it was a lot of dumb fun.  Wish we got more of the Scottish brothers because it was entertaining seeing Drew McIntyre on the big screen.

  Sofia Boutella was stuck in the love interest role but somehow still was used better than the Rebel Moon films.

  Looking at it through MCU eyes, the basically takeaway is that Mantis really never forgave Drax for all those ugly remarks!
