I’ve seen a lot of comments saying this is a faithful adaptation, but it just felt like a whistle-stop tour of all the main plot points that doesn’t understand what makes the novel so excellent. Pretty disappointing, though a little excited to have finally seen my first Hitchcock.

Holy Spider 2022
I’ve always felt that the original title of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo - Men Who Hate Women - is appropriate for many films.
Holy Spider is gripping and uncomfortable, and just when I thought it couldn’t get more uncomfortable it did. Well-made, but I think I’ll need to defuse with a Disney film or something now.
