I don't understand the play. Am I doing it right?

It doesn't matter. Just keep telling the story.

Cried all throughout the final act, cried on the way home, cried again later in the day when I tried to talk about the movie. Sometimes a piece of art comes along to remind you that your grief, loneliness, and desire to be seen is what connects you to every single human being that has ever, and will ever, live. This is…

There isn't a single thing on this earth that can break your heart the way a best friend can. I loved the way this movie depicted grief + loss and how it can change you forevermore. Watching Colin Farrell's character care so much about being nice only for that to dissolve just felt so... human. Who hasn't been changed by the loss of a friend in both large and small ways?
Anyways. Alexa, play "cutting my fingers off" by Turnover.

Hits different when you have a father who you love but are also incredibly angry with, and who you didn't fully understand as a child because his actions were shaped by the depression he never spoke about. The same depression that was passed on to you, and the same depression that made it's presence known early in your childhood.
Anyways, I cried. :) This movie was incredibly well done and Paul Mescal embodied this character in a mesmerizing way. Frankie…
