  A well told and well acted dramatic retelling of the events and politics surrounding the Yom Kippur War. 

  This is a part of history that I am only vaguely familiar with. But it did spark enough interest for me to do a bit of research into the events to see what did transpire. Cut within are what look to be 70’s media footage of the war. Although this storytelling device lends credibility, I often found it distracting to the story…

  I was really looking forward to this one. I like a lot of Robert Altman's films (my favorite being "The Player"). Out of my remaining AFI films there were 3 in particular that I just have no desire to see, so after watching one I thought this may be a good palate cleanser.
