Let women be free to live and experience whatever the hell they want! I loved the visuals of this film. One of my new favorite directors and Emma’s performance is her best yet! After the studio IP force feed for almost a decade, it’s so refreshing to see art films on the rise again.

I miss the grand set visuals of movies like this! It was like a horny dead poets society. I’ve seen way worse and cringy scenes but I understand why more conservative households might be completely shook! The cinematography and use of colors were stuck in my head for days. I loved the locations and the static wide shots!

This is why it's important to know your family history! This is a cult classic and the production value still holds up 30 years later. The story is easy to follow but the props and makeup take this movie to another level. Gotta love to see what a film maker can with just one location. Brilliant.
