The Iron Claw 2023
I loved this film. 4.75 for me because while it was a great movie, there’s just so much of the real story left out because of the runtime. Even though I’m kinda over everything being made into a series, this really should’ve been.

Film 1/31The Thing in space. Good concept and I love the animation, but the sheer amount of exposition dump dialogue is…a lot for something that clocks in at barely an hour long. Creates a lot of pacing issues. Super gross/gory/scary moments intercut with slooooow and pointless exposition. I liked it overall and enjoyed the watch but it definitely left me with conflicting feelings. The actual horror parts were genuinely creepy and well done.

Film 4/31Great vampire concept with a shitty ending. Film looks absolutely gorgeous though and gay vampires are always a plus. Wish Bowie was in this for longer. Overall I feel like the movie could’ve been slightly longer with a bit more world building but that’s me nitpicking I guess.
