I do love Guy Ritchie movies, for the way they're filmed, how shots are framed, the editing, the action set pieces and many more stylish choices that make Guy Ritchie movie what it is. This movie is no different.
Definitely style > substance but that's fine with me in this case, it was quite enjoyable, and the substance that is present works well enough to keep the characters motivations clear and engaging enough throughout the film.

Overall a fun movie. Clearly a very hyper realistic version of the true story, but that's expected with Guy Ritchie (and Hollywood movies in general).

Fun action-spin on the groundhog day time-loop device with great set-pieces and choreography. The plot was predicable in parts but I do love that the movie mostly didn't take itself too seriously, actually delivering some good comedic bits. It even had some honest attempts at some heartfelt scenes and moments that, while not very emotionally stirring, landed just fine.

The directing and editing of the movie did well in keeping the momentum going while maintaining a good enough pace.

Absolutely beautiful stopmotion animation, incredible puppets and stunning autumnal art direction. The voice performances sound like the actors hadn't skipped a step in 10 years.

Such a wonderful short to celebrate the 10-Year anniversary of an already very special miniseries.
    And that's a 🪨 fact.

As much of an OTGW fan as I am I can't believe I had never seen this before. I love it!
Only recently learned that Patrick McHale has made this short film as some form of pilot for what would then become his incredible miniseries.
