Pretty chaotic plot delivered in a very chill way which is not a style I've seen much of before. Def confusing at times but really funny and well acted. As per usual from a PTA film it's beautifully shot with a great score from Johnny Greenwood too. Overall it's a great movie but not my favourite of his.

Eastern Promises 2007
A very gripping look into a Russian organised crime story without being a typical crime / mob thriller.
Super gritty and as expected from Cronenberg the practical effects / body horror are very vivid.
Viggo Mortensen is particularly great, the steam room scene is nuts. The rest of the cast are also fantastic and convincing, although some of the accents are maybe a little stereotypical?
Overall class movie, reccomend!

Dune: Part Two 2024
This is undeniably an epic film. The production, costume design, special effects, the "bwaaaaah". It all really works in creating the Dune world and keeping you engaged. Hans Zimmer really is just THE epic blockbuster score guy now it seems, and I guess it makes sense but feels like he's relying on the same core ideas over and over.
I do think this film had some issues, the romantic sub plot felt quite clunky and the general dialogue and relationships…
