  Sometimes you just fall in love with a movie, and no cynical friend or jaded critic can talk you out of it. This gorgeous film has shown up on some lists as the Worst Best Picture Oscar winner ever released. This is NOT TRUE. It takes you on a journey, both touching and exhilarating. The music works magically; alas, it became too popular and there was a backlash. But who cares? The film is pure pleasure.
