Scatterbrained as hell but I feel it most of it works enough. I feel like if you're going for satire you can't bail on that before the end. I don't know if I heard someone say this but Robert Pattinson has a Buster Keaton-ish vibe to the comedy here and that's usually there for the film to pick up the satire slack.
I also don't really understand what the Kai character's role here was other than to tease a sex scene. Just a case of too many dudes?
