This movie answers the question: What if Rambo didn’t kill anyone? Does it provide a clear answer? Find out. But it did confirm three things for me:

Aaron Pierre is an absolute force. Get used to seeing his face.
Don Johnson should always play a villain.
    I just flat-out hate cops.

Listen, you're always gonna get me if Lindsay Lohan is narrating the trailer. This film was fine, to say the least. Chord Overstreet? That was the best Netflix could do to play Lohan's counterpart? He was totally unbelievable as a love interest, and despite Lindsay Lohan putting this film on another level, it still felt a bit too Hallmark-y for me.

But I can't deny that warm, fuzzy feeling seeing Lohan on screen—the same one I first experienced 20-ish years ago. Yeah, it's still there.

Christian Bale and Harry Melling are reasons alone to watch this flick. Bale just does not know how to turn in a bad performance and it was truly astonishing seeing Melling keep up with him and outshine Bale for a good chunk of this film. Previous Scott Cooper and Christian Bale collaborations have had pacing issues (Out of the Furnace, Hostiles) and this one is no different, just not as egregious. The cinematography was excellent and just a beautiful film…

I don’t remember the last time I left the movie theater speechless. Very few films can make you laugh, cry, leave you breathless and make you question all your life decisions all at the same time. A visual and screenwriting masterpiece, Daniels knew what they wanted and went for it. The acting stood up to the weight of the film. I seriously cannot wait to rewatch this film. Please go watch this. 5/5 Stars
