Even with some of the great assets the film offers, I couldn't really connect with the movie or cared much about the characters. Some dialogue bits made me laugh out loud. Many times.
On a thelogical side, the film on the surface promotes religion pluralism but might contradict itself without fully being aware of it.
My favourite part of the movie, watching the beautiful castle of Loarre and its surroundings, even if it is supposed to be located in France.

Monumental film. The only issue for me is that it gets a tad slow in some scenes. But if Jesus forgave his captors and killers, how am I not going to forgive this tiny flaw in an otherwise superb, bigger than life film. Watch out for the incredible use of narrative support in the background.
