I was concerned when I found out that Live And Let Die was basically James Bond’s attempt at Blaxploitation because I thought it’d be hugely racist. Fortunately it’s only mildly racist.
Camp action is done better here than in Diamonds Are Forever, that’s for sure, but it’s still not as good as most of Connery’s movies. The first act of the film is a fairly good thriller, but the second devolves into farcical nonsense. The final act is pretty good.…
