It’s no secret this movie is an adaptation from Chuck Palahniuk's novel, BUT you may not know it’s true inspiration unbelievably stems from a literal fight Chuck was in while on a weekend camping trip, where he actually got beaten up and had bruising and cuts all over him including his dang face. Chuck had to go back to work the following week and realized that none of his coworkers would look at his face, even when they were talking to him. He…

Mr. Deeds 2002
The on-screen chemistry between Adam Sandler and Winona Ryder is fantastic, and the two actors expertly play off each other's strengths. When Emilio stabs that fireplace poker thing into Deed’s black foot, my God, STILL one of my all-time favorite film moments—😂😅. I get so much joy from this film, and its heart-warming message is an additional bonus.

The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie 2024
My God, was this great, and honestly, I freaking love this type of animation; it definitely gave me the nostalgia vibes of all the classic cartoons from my childhood. Truthfully, this is actually more for adults, which is so awesome! Guys, I grew up with these cartoons, I mean, the old-school Looney Tunes are truly spectacular, so I had some expectations, and this DID NOT disappoint. Also, I’m a massive Seinfeld fan, and I immediately knew the mayor was voiced by Newman—cherry on top 🍒! Definitely worth seeing on the big screen 🍿🤙!

Novocaine 2025
I’m so glad I avoid all trailers and stuff for new movies I want to see, like, aside from what I see in the theater, of course, BUT I was actually surprised by a few things with this one. Firstly, it’s a dang 🎅🏻 Christmas 🎄movie, like that’s cool as hell; honestly, I wish they leaned more into that stuff, but it worked. Also, holy crap, I DID NOT see a certain—let’s call it a twist—no spoilers 😅 coming, but…

Nosferatu 2024
DAMN 🦇, this is my type of movie: incredibly atmospheric, delightfully enthralling, and relentlessly authentic from the sets to the wardrobe and dialogue. Like, I was completely transported to 1800's Germany—I LOVED IT. Also, are you kidding me with Bill Skarsgård's voice? Like, my God, hearing him talk was CHILLING 😨.

Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter 1984
I’ve grown to completely love these movies; like, I really get lost in just the overall vibe. That’s what makes them GREAT: the campiness, the gorgeous cannon fodder, and Jason doing what Jason does best. 🍿🔪. Also, Crispin Glover's dancing is my feeling on the first day of 🎃 Fall 🍁.
