The Lego Batman Movie 2017
this movie is everything to me. I am eternally changed by this film. I have seen it a minimum of 45 times I think I'm up to around 60. this movie tackles nuanced topics with love and affection that makes it palatable to all audiences, children and adult alike. every character had multiple sides to them, showing vulnerability that no other adaptation has been capable of. these characters are treated with respect and pay wonderful homage to past representations. whoever you are and whoever you've been, you can find yourself in this film.
