  As a survivor of a violent and abusive relationship, this is the most realistic depiction I have seen. Hollywood just can't depict real life suffering in this way - this movie hasn't a hint of comforting glamour, just sheer raw reality. Bless Paddy Considine for this and Olivia Colman is absolutely phenomenal.

  Excellent satire.
  People who don't like this movie coz it made them feel uncomfortable are really just ashamed about the way our society is. And that is reflected in how many psychopaths thrive so easily in it. (Also ERW is an amazing actress)
