Can’t believe I hadn’t heard of this film until now. Beautiful concept, beautiful cinematography and some great dialogue. Other parts of the dialogue were a bit cliche and lacking in any depth, your overdone, classic “softboy lead in an indie film film” (think “I don’t believe in love, what’s the point when everything ends”).
Great watch for fans of the “will they, won’t they/ unrequited love” (past lives, one day, 500 days of summer etc)
A hungover Saturday trip to the cinema. Was really looking forward to the trailers because I haven’t been to the cinema in a while but forgot the trailers were all targeted at kids. Anyways, not holding a grudge. Not holding a grudge over the fact a cinema full of 200 kids means there’s a lot of noise and someone got up to pee approx every 24 seconds. Lessons learnt, go see kids films when they’re all at school and not…
It would be easy to say I found this film mind-blowing just because I was pretty stoned but wow. The first glimpse of the alternative universe had the lead not stayed with her husband made me pause the film just to think about how beautiful the idea is that one small decision can affect your life beyond your wildest dreams. Deep huh.
Loved this film and loved everything about it. So poignant and thought provoking and I finished it wanting to tell my mum I love her.
