What an introvert would do to get consensual laid centuries ago?, here you see it.
This is a very enjoyable remake showing style, confidence and humor.
I love the monotone appearance of Count Orlok!

This is about how dreams and imagination carry humanity. If you expect a Hollywood waged evening spend it at Gladiator II, not here. Here you are in for a play, to big for a stage.
We see a very daring zeitgeist piece, standing on top of millennia of philosophy and history. I am glad that this movie was made in this time.

PS: I have never heard the name of Director/Writer/Producer said so often in his own movie!
PSS: Glad that no Batman came along.
A challenged mother-son relationship starts over into a new intense chapter, strangely supported by a neighbour. Everything is filled with boundaries, some try to say less, some try to say more, some try to care. No wonder the screen itself is limited too.
I love the permanent underlying romantic which is suppressed by the fighting.
What a wonderful script. There is room for a sequel.

Two jagged characters fall in love and at the end a lot of people lay on the ground.
Somehow this film is asking you to open up your fantasy but then it does not deliver, it stays with stereotypes and a straight story.
Btw, Jean-Pierre Jeunet called, he wants his colours back.
