Son of Mine 2015
Probably one of the best Dutch films I've seen. Especially considering it's entirely spoken in dialect, which is usually only a distraction, but adds a lot of nuance and understanding to the difficulties of interpersonal relationships and familial bonds. Wouldn't have imagined myself crying over a movie with such violence, but the acting is incredibly well done and the atmosphere of the overarching father-son relationship is heart-wrenchingly depicted.
