  I can't take that much emotional abuse at once, I felt so overwhelmed with everything. His inability to have social skills felt so right abou the charachter, that he seems like he has Asperger's. I loved that so much though as he always powers on

  Watched it with my family (not a good idea) but I also was so interested to learn that Nathaniel Hall had a diagnosis of aids when he was 16 so it was just so accurate in its portrayal. Also unlike some other films of the present day which are set in the past, it is actually an accurate depiction of the times. Very depressing that the central idea is shame and how it affects the main characters.

  It's brilliant
  Third time watching and it keeps getting better, watched it virtually with my gf and made the viewing experience alot better but I'm not the best with spoilers. Sorry Daniel and Sophie but you know I'm bad with spoilers.
  Very memorable quotes and I just get more and more out of this film with each watch of this genius piece. Wow do I love this
