The Beekeeper 2024
Let’s start with this. Clearly not a film to take seriously, but, my god, don’t. It’s a film about a retired ‘beekeeper’ (who actually still keeps bees so isn’t retired in that sense) who quite quickly returns to his old killing ways to bring down a bunch of fraudsters. Everything about the film should be fun and yet it doesn’t seem to land its quips in dialogue about the bee hive and is instead confused between being all out action or modern-day satire.

Adventureland 2009
