  Realized recently that I never actually wrote a review for this film, and I think it’s time. I love this movie. As a documentary, it isn’t perfect, some parts roll along smoother than others and of course there’s flaws in what’s included, certain feelings of missing substance but at the same time scenes that are so raw I feel uncomfortable watching them play out.   Pretentious and unoriginal. Good acting and interesting set up but fell flat because it couldn’t decide what it wanted to say. Just watch Martyrs or Barbarian instead.

  Wow. This movie really sucks, idk if i’m missing something but I have absolutely no clue why everyone is raving about it. The plot was garbage and there was absolutely nothing original, the gore didn’t add to the film and got very tiresome making it not scary at all from the overuse. Really trash film, don’t trust the hype.
