  felt almost nothing watching this tbh. generally speaking I’m a fan of weird and difficult art, and the fact that this has gotten five-star ratings from nearly everyone I know makes me feel like I must be missing something, but to me this was confusing and esoteric toward no end. maybe I just don’t connect with lynch, or maybe he intentionally made an inaccessible nonsense movie so that people would spend hours arguing heatedly about what it means and getting nowhere, which I can respect, but regardless it’s not my thing
