  “Semper fi motherfucker!”

  I unironically love this movie. Yes, it has very little to do with Doom. But it’s just fun. I get a lot more enjoyment out of this than the first Resident Evil movie, which is the closest thing you can compare it to. The Rock? Karl Urban?! It kicks ass!

  The mutant/virus stuff is all stupid though. You could tell they were trying to tiptoe around any actual demonic stuff to not piss off the forever-overly-sensitive Christian…

  Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2004

  Fantastic movie. Very unique. A love story with the tiniest tinge of sci-fi. If it weren’t for the very whimsical and quirky score, this could be a really good horror movie.

  And I will say this is one of the few romance-heavy movies that doesn’t piss me off. I think because

  A.) I love Jim Carrey always, and

  B.) the romance here is realistic, but not in a totally depressing way.
