DESERVING! OF! ALL! THE! AWARDS!
To quote the review I just read by the incredible and more eloquent than me Tim Green: "You really get to see how transactional Ivan keeps it the whole time but he’s just so childlike and immature which gets mistaken for charming most of the time in men, (almost always to the detriment of the women who love them)."

The Brutalist 2024
a lot of high highs and a lot of low lows. some of the coolest lighting and cinematography! but there were no trigger warnings and that made the second half extremely rough for me. i think unfortunately that tainted a lot of what i did really love about this movie
