    A proletarian period piece that is so subtle and dedicated, I hazard to say I've never been so immersed in a time period. Set in Switzerland in the late 19th century, a middle-aged Peter Kropotkin has arrived as a cartographer to help map the surrounding community, which is feverishly stirring with anarchist ideology. Nascent in his ideological pursuits, he mingles with locals and—unbeknownst to either—crosses paths with a fellow revolutionary recently fired for dissension.
