  A mostly boring bloated clusterfuck of asspulls kept afloat by pretty visuals, the same four John Williams tunes and a never-ending barrage of nostalgia. 

  Perhaps the only interesting part of the film is the Kylo/Rey dynamic. It took until the last half hour for that to start developing into its own thing. No film is worth waiting 2 hours to get to the only halfway good bit. I genuinely can barely remember the first 2 hours and I only left…

  Nolan got the idea for this film while inverting his head up his own ass.  This movie straight up feels like a parody of all bad Nolan cliches. It’s like someone took Inception and removed all the parts that made it good. 

  Everyone else is correct. Shallow characters, obtuse motivations past “get the Maguffin” and indecipherable dialogue all bring the movie down. The set pieces and cinematography make it an enjoyable, but confusing mess.

  The more I think about this the less I like it.
