  Stunning visuals, what an experience to watch a new Ghibli film in the cinema. There were some plot points I wasn't a fan of but other than that, amazing. All the voice actors most notably Robert Pattinson as the heron did an outstanding job.

  The animation was absolutely beautiful, as always with a ghibli film. Each frame is a work of art.

  Such an emotional film. Having no fantasy aspet (which is uncommon for Ghibli and anime in general) creates a deeper and more natural connection and relation with audiences, even though the film stays relatively calm, it doesn't fail to keep you entertained or on edge, by the end I was completely immersed. I love how you only see the siblings perspective throughout everything and it never cuts away to anyone else's, it makes you feel for them so much more.
