I could physically feel the highs and lows in this movie like that ending. Nuts!!!! When Bill kept looking back Charlie the way their dependency and anxiety kept growing more urgent. I get it though because because Elliott Gould could convince me of anything and I’d be like yeah. Yeah. What a guy. Also from what I have now seen, Altman loves to shit on things in the BEST way possible. Like, tenderly. Tender and sleaze are not two words…

It’s ok with me
This is actually the best movie ever…Loved everything about it really. This might be my favorite performance ever like Gould just DID it for me. “Nobody cares but me” line LIKE COME FUCKING ON MARLOWEEE. His dangling cigarette, devotion to his cat (WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CAT!!), and general calm demeanor….yeah Need that. Everything in this movie just scratched my brain so well!!!!! Also this movie could only have been set in Los Angeles. Don’t know how to articulate this but there’s an eerie ease to this thing that can only be captured in the city. Instant favorite.
