The guy next to me fell asleep 20 minutes in and I think that’s all you need to know really.
I do not like Disney usually- I just happened to have really liked the first Moana enough that I was convinced to watch this one. Definitely a mistake. I can’t believe I’m saying this but bring Lin Manuel-Miranda back because the music was AWFUL. I can’t explain how awful.

I was not expecting to enjoy the Robbie Williams monkey movie.
Surprisingly I got over the fact that he was a monkey quite fast- it just worked. Didn’t question it by the end.
I am a stage musical lover but I tend to dislike movie musicals. This one, however, did not suck. The choreography was awesome and (as someone who does not usually know or enjoy Robbie Williams’ music) the music low-key slapped. I can’t stop thinking about the scene…

The one star is for casting Mikey Madison even though her character was weird at the end.
Awful writing, most of the characters pissed me off. Spent most of it confused. Shit villains. Used violence as a shock factor because the writers were too lazy to write actual horror.
